Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...St. Marks River near Newport On Old Magnolia Rd. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Several structures on Old Magnolia Road are surrounded by water up to 1 foot deep in Wakulla County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 9.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM EDT Friday was 9.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 8.4 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.2 feet on 07/04/2013. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Areas of fog, with localized areas of dense fog, has developed in the predawn hours across portions of the area, especially across Florida and adjacent southwest Georgia. Rapid changes in visibilities can be expected when traveling through more fog prone areas through morning commute. Drivers are urged to slow down if encountering patches of fog and allow safe braking distance between motorists. Conditions should rapidly improve by mid morning.
