Director — The Director of Emergency Management develops, executes, and maintains the FSU Emergency Management program in coordination with the emergency management, university, and external stakeholders. The Director is responsible for ensuring an all-hazards framework exists to prepare for, prevent, respond to, recover from and mitigate against the effects of a wide variety of emergencies and disasters that could adversely affect the health, safety, and/or general welfare of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Director of Emergency Management reports to the Assistant Vice President of Public Safety.

Mitigation & Recovery Program Manager – The Mitigation & Recovery Program Manager administers a planning program focused on lessening the university's impact to disasters and restoring essential services. The manager is charged with post-disaster redevelopment and mitigation planning, supporting cost recovery activities, grant writing and management, technology development, after action analysis, and threat & hazard risk assessments. The Mitigation & Recovery Manager oversees the Emergency Management Program in the absence of the Director.

Preparedness & Response Program Manager – The Preparedness & Response Program Manager administers a planning program focused on the university to respond to emergencies and complex events. This includes the development and maintenance of the University's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) and Continuity Of Operations Planning (COOP) program. The manager is responsible for integrated preparedness planning, training, & exercise needs assessments and the implementation of after-action improvements plans.

Preparedness Coordinator — The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator is responsible for a host of readiness activities to include the administration of emergency management technology used for emergency notifications, public education, and incident management. The coordinator is charged with conducting training, performing outreach, and managing Campus Emergency Response Volunteers (CERV).

Technology Specialist — The Emergency Management Technology Specialist supports FSU's preparedness and response readiness goals by maintaining the university's emergency alert and notification system. The Technology Specialist administers the equipment readiness program to ensure operational capability, equipment functionality, and provides recommendations on emerging technologies.
